The Academy of Givers is excited to announce the fourth edition of the For Impact Event and Fair that will take place on the 25th of March at Corinthia St George’s Bay. The event provides businesses with a unique opportunity to enhance their ESG and CSR strategies, learn from industry experts, and connect with a diverse network of Voluntary Organisations, foundations, and social/environmental advocates.
The topic for this year is “Make it Happen”, bringing to the audience engaging stories of people and companies who have successfully implemented their initiatives to give back effectively and efficiently, maximising impact across various sectors and causes. The how, more than the why, of giving back becomes the focus, featuring practical tools that will be passed on to attendees through both technical and design thinking workshops, facilitated by experts in the field.

Highlighting the agenda, Fatma Samba Diouf Samoura, Former Secretary General of the International Association Football Federation (FIFA), will be delivering a keynote speech titled From Crises to Change: Leading with Purpose to Accelerate Equality and Community Impact.
The event is also set to feature a panel discussion with Her Excellency, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, former President of Malta; Keith Marshall, Chief Philanthropy Officer at SiGMA Foundation; and Neil Agius, Olympic Athlete. The discussion will be moderated by the Chair of Melita Foundation Tanya Sammut Bonnici.
In addition, a fireside chat will take place, featuring Mark Weingard, President of the Academy of Givers and Founder of Inspirasia Foundation and Iniala Group, alongside Josh O’Cock, CEO of Growth Gurus and board member of the Academy of Givers.
Building on the success of the previous editions of the For Impact Event and Fair, Business CEOs and Executives, HR and CSR managers, ESG and Sustainability Officers, Corporate and Philanthropic Foundations, and leaders of Not-For-Profit, Voluntary and Social Purpose Organisations are being invited to participate in a day filled with networking opportunities, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on workshops.
Running concurrently with the conference, an Impact Fair will be open to conference attendees providing an inclusive space for everyone to connect and learn more about social and environmental issues in Malta.
The Academy of Givers would like to thank Iniala Harbour House and Mark Weingard, Vistage Malta, Betsson Group, APS Bank, The Hudson Foundation and Fenech&Fenech/Fenlex for supporting this year’s Conference and Fair.
