On June 26, FESTA 2025 reaches its apex as SuperCharger Ventures hosts Demo Day at the historic Verdala Palace – spotlighting 13 of the world’s most promising EdTech and Future of Work startups.
Handpicked from over 600 applicants, the presenting startups are not only revenue-generating but also eligible for up to €1.5 million in non-dilutive Maltese government funding. For investors, the event offers a rare opportunity: pre-vetted dealflow, direct access to founders, and insight into one of Europe’s fastest-growing innovation hubs.
But Demo Day is more than just pitches. This year’s evening program features a heavyweight lineup of keynotes — from investors and founders to government leaders and ecosystem architects. Confirmed speakers include SuperCharger Ventures founder Janos Barberis, whose session “From Malta to the World” will unpack how smaller nations can rewrite the rules of global innovation.
Other highlights include strategic insights on building billion-dollar companies, a look at the government’s evolving role in supporting startups, and opening remarks from ecosystem champions like George Gregory and Emma Rubesova.
As Malta sharpens its identity as a launchpad for global tech, Demo Day signals a new chapter – where ambition meets opportunity, and where startups, policy, and capital come together under one roof.
