The Malta Entertainment Industry and Arts Association (MEIA) extends a warm invitation to its forthcoming Annual General Meeting. Set to take place on 26th March at 5:30 PM, this year’s AGM will be held in a hybrid format, allowing members to participate either online or in person at Spazju Kreattiv Studio A.
The AGM is a pivotal event for MEIA and its members, offering an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year, discuss key issues affecting the industry, and collaborate on shaping the future of the association. MEIA strongly encourages all members to attend the upcoming AGM, as their participation is essential to ensuring the association continues to effectively represent their interests. By attending, members have a chance to voice their opinions, contribute to important decisions, and stay informed about the association’s direction. It’s also a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and strengthen the community.

This year’s AGM will include several significant highlights. Nominations for the Executive Committee will open five days before the AGM, providing members with the opportunity to participate in the leadership of the association. Additionally, there will be a special presentation by Culture Venture on the ongoing research to create a Rate Card for the performing arts, a crucial initiative aimed at enhancing the sector’s professionalism and sustainability.
Each committee and sector will present its vision for the future, outlining strategies and goals that will shape the direction of MEIA and its impact on Malta’s creative industry. Furthermore, MEIA will announce exciting partnerships that will enhance the association’s role in the sector and provide new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
The AGM will also mark the launch of MEIA’s new membership program, designed to enhance benefits and engagement for members. There will be a presentation on MEIA’s advocacy work, highlighting past achievements and plans in advocacy, research, and outreach.
Following the formal proceedings, MEIA invites all attendees to join a networking session from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This will provide a valuable opportunity for members to connect, share ideas, and build relationships within the creative community.
MEIA looks forward to welcoming its members to this important event. The association is confident that the collective efforts will continue to drive progress in Malta’s entertainment and arts sector.
MEIA takes the opportunity to thank Spazju Kreattiv for providing the space to host this gathering.
