APS Bank has introduced two updates to enhance the convenience of digital banking for its customers.
The Bank has streamlined the payment approval process for business users on its myAPS business banking platform, making it faster and simpler.
Payments are now processed automatically once all necessary authorisations are provided, eliminating the need for manual date adjustments. For future-dated payments, all signatories must authorise the transaction by the day before the scheduled payment date.
This improvement was implemented in response to customer feedback, and forms part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts to enhance customer experience.
In a further step towards mobile accessibility, customers can now view their Statement of Fees directly through the myAPS app on both iOS and Android. This builds on previous updates, including the introduction of account statements on the mobile app and web portal in 2023, and access to Statements of Fees via the web portal in 2024.
Printed fee statements will no longer be sent by post to myAPS users unless specifically requested. Customers not registered to myAPS will continue receiving statements by post. myAPS users can access digital fee statements via Statements > Statement of Fees on the mobile app or web portal.
Gordon Gilford, Head of Electronic Channels at APS Bank, said:
“These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to make banking easier and more transparent for our customers. We are continuously implementing enhancements based on valuable customer feedback, to make our services more streamlined and user-friendly. “
