KLIKK RETURNS TO PROFIT AS FIRST-HALF REVENUE JUMPS 68.3% TO €7.76 MILLION

Klikk Finance plc has swung back into profit in the first half of 2026, posting revenue of €7.76 million, a 68.3 per cent increase on the same period a year earlier, as its integration into the GO Group continues to deliver tangible commercial results.

The Maltese IT retailer recorded an operating profit of €214,723 for the six months to mid-2026, a meaningful turnaround from the €147,068 loss it reported in the equivalent period of 2025. The company attributed the improvement to stronger sales volumes, which management believes can be sustained over the medium to long term.

According to figures reported by Whoswho, gross margin also edged upward to 12.3 per cent from 11.2 per cent in the prior-year period, a positive outcome given ongoing inflationary pressures and higher costs of sales. Klikk credited increased purchasing volumes as a key driver, with the group scaling its operations in anticipation of further growth.

The contrast with 2024 is instructive. At that point, rising costs and the upheaval of strategic restructuring had squeezed profitability even as revenues grew. The latest figures suggest those structural adjustments are now beginning to pay off.

Operating expenses did increase during the period, with administrative costs rising on the back of higher payroll and investment in organisational capability. That increase was more than offset, however, by the underlying revenue momentum, leaving the overall picture firmly positive.

Klikk Group comprises two entities, Klikk and Klikk Limited, which operate a pair of computer retail outlets in Birkirkara and Żejtun. Both locations serve retail and corporate customers across a broad range of IT products and services and together form the commercial foundation the group is now building on as it moves into a more ambitious growth phase.

With profitability restored and margins trending in the right direction, the first-half results mark a convincing step forward for Klikk as it consolidates its position within GO Group and develops the operational base to support what comes next.
