About Nick Tonna
Nick joined BMIT in 2012 to lead the Commercial team through the company’s ambitious transformation strategy. Under his leadership the team has helped the company attain strong year-on-year revenue growth and double the customer count.
As Chief Customer Officer, Nick now also has extended responsibility for the company’s service management function so as to ensure a focus on customer experience from pre-sales to service delivery.
Prior to BMIT, Nick led Microsoft’s Enterprise segment in Malta and was responsible for the relationships with Microsoft’s key customers, including the Government of Malta, the main banks and telcos. At Microsoft he was recognised with the Worldwide Circle of Excellence Award for his contributions.
Earlier in his career, Nick also managed a number of ICT transformation projects for various customers mainly from the public sector and the financial services sector.
Nick holds a Masters in Knowledge-Based Entrepreneurship and a Bachelors in ICT from the University of Malta, with specialisation in Business Information Systems at Virginia Commonwealth University.
