In today’s digital landscape, if something isn’t on social media, it might as well not exist. For many years, Fondazzjoni Sebħ—an NGO dedicated to providing community, residential, and therapeutic services—could get by without a polished online presence. Like many nonprofits, they focused their resources on their core mission rather than on the aesthetics of their website or the curation of their digital identity. But times have changed.
With endless information and stories dying for attention on every screen, having a strong digital identity is now a necessity. Just as brands, media outlets, and influencers invest in carefully crafted images and narratives to capture attention, NGOs face the same competition. Today, getting noticed requires a compelling story, visually appealing content, and seamless digital experiences.

For NGOs like Fondazzjoni Sebħ, this shift has posed a challenge: unlike big brands, most non-profits don’t have the budgets to invest in professional rebranding efforts. As a result, they can struggle to cut through the noise and reach the audiences they need to engage.
Recognising this challenge, the tech and creative company, 9H Digital, reached out to give the NGO a digital makeover. The rebranding focused on creating a modern, cohesive design that reflects the organisation’s mission while making it easy for visitors to explore their work. The new website emphasises storytelling, allowing Fondazzjoni Sebħ to share the impact of its services in a way that connects with a broader audience.
“NGOs have the most inspiring stories to tell, but without a strong digital presence, they risk being overshadowed in the crowded online space,” says Jasmine Farrugia from 9H Digital. “We wanted to help Fondazzjoni Sebħ bring their story to life and ensure that their digital platform is as impactful as the work they do in the community.”
The result is a refreshed look and feel that not only highlights the heart of Fondazzjoni Sebħ’s mission but also ensures they remain visible and relevant in today’s fast-paced digital world. It’s proof that even the most dedicated social work deserves a chance to shine online.
