This summer, Malta will become the leading example of European innovation with FESTA 2025; a six-day gathering designed not just to showcase startups, but to reimagine the country’s identity as a launchpad for bold ideas and global ambition. And it all begins with Malta Success Day.
Hosted by SuperCharger Ventures, the world’s largest EdTech-only accelerator, Malta Success Day is the opening chapter of FESTA and it sets the tone for what the entire week stands for: honoring the past, investing in the future, and unlocking Malta’s unique strengths.
Taking place on June 23rd at the iconic Verdala Palace, Malta Success Day brings together a curated lineup of keynote speakers and founders to explore what it truly means to succeed from – and through – Malta. From constraints that fuel creativity, to the competitive edge of a small, agile nation, the day is a powerful reminder that impact isn’t measured by size, but by vision.
The programme will delve into how Malta’s unique scale and global perspective foster innovation, spotlighting the role of returning talent, creative constraint, and the path to international growth.
Confirmed highlights include:
- A keynote by Gege Gatt, “The Malta Mindset,” which explores how Malta’s resource-constrained environment has given rise to a culture of inventive problem-solving and agile thinking.
- A fireside chat titled “Returning Home: Lessons from Abroad,” featuring Vladimir Milovanovic, which considers how international experience can enrich the local entrepreneurial landscape.
- Closing the evening, a keynote from Iusef Hafith-Russo and David Sciberras, “Paving the Way for Malta’s Startup Ecosystem,” will present findings from the Malta Startup Report and examine the policy and community efforts underway to position Malta as a competitive player in the European startup arena.
