The SiGMA Group’s flagship summit for innovation and gaming — AIBC Central Europe 2025 — has officially opened in Rome, gathering tens of thousands of delegates, industry leaders, and investors for four days of high-level discussion, networking, and deal-making.
Running from 3–6 November 2025 at Fiera Roma, the event marks one of the largest gatherings in the global gaming and emerging technology calendar. With 30,000 industry delegates, 1,200 sponsors and exhibitors, and four conference stages featuring over 550 expert speakers, the Rome edition cements AIBC’s role as a global nexus for gaming, blockchain, AI, and fintech innovation.
This year’s summit showcases a 100,000 sqm exhibition space, two major startup pitch competitions, and VIP networking lounges alongside prestigious awards ceremonies and gala events. It offers an unprecedented platform for connecting operators, investors, and entrepreneurs shaping the next generation of digital business.
The decision to host the event in Rome highlights Italy’s growing status as a hub for gaming, technology, and venture capital. The country has seen a remarkable expansion in its startup ecosystem — from €1.1 billion in venture investment in 2021 to €2.3 billion in 2022, and nearly €1.2 billion raised in just the first three quarters of 2024.
“As Italy strengthens its position as one of Europe’s most dynamic innovation markets, AIBC Central Europe provides the perfect platform to bridge gaming, AI, and investment on a continental scale,” said SiGMA Group founder Eman Pulis in a pre-summit statement.
Beyond business, the event’s charity auction and community-led initiatives underscore SiGMA’s ongoing commitment to social impact and sustainability within the gaming industry.
For Malta — where SiGMA first launched its global events network — the Rome summit reflects both the island’s legacy and influence in shaping the international gaming landscape. With growing competition from across Europe, AIBC Central Europe represents both a challenge and an opportunity to maintain Malta’s leadership role as the hub for regulated gaming and digital innovation.
