This year’s edition of MedTech Malta saw a major milestone for the international medical technology community: the official launch of MedTech World’s new global publication, a project designed to spotlight the people and ideas pushing healthcare innovation forward across every continent.

The publication was unveiled during the conference, which brought together founders, researchers, clinicians, investors, policymakers, and industry leaders for three days of keynotes, panels, and networking. The launch marked one of the most significant moments of the event, signalling MedTech World’s ambition to expand its global reach and deepen engagement with communities beyond Europe.

The new publication gathers stories, interviews, and insights from MedTech leaders around the world—featuring emerging technologies, regulatory perspectives, investment trends, and breakthrough ideas shaping the next decade of healthcare. It also includes contributions from startup founders and innovators building real-world solutions in diagnostics, biotech, digital health, robotics, and AI.

“This is just one of several opportunities we’re introducing to reach more people and make MedTech knowledge accessible across regions,” said MedTech World CEO Dr. Dylan Attard. “Our goal is to broaden learning, share insights, and connect innovators from all over the world.”

To enhance accessibility, MedTech World has made the publication available in both print and digital formats, with full translations in Arabic and Simplified Chinese. This multilingual approach mirrors the conference’s increasingly international footprint, which this year saw significant participation from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

MedTech Malta 2025 itself explored some of the most pressing and transformative themes in modern healthcare—including the ethical use of AI in medicine, cross-border regulation of digital therapeutics, advances in robotic surgery, personalised and precision health, and the future of patient-centred care. The event reaffirmed Malta’s growing role as a regional hub for MedTech dialogue, innovation, and knowledge exchange.

The publication, now available for download, serves as a lasting extension of the conversations held at MedTech Malta 2025. It captures the spirit of the conference: global, collaborative, forward-looking, and committed to improving healthcare systems worldwide.‎

Readers can access the digital edition through MedTech World’s official channels and explore the voices driving meaningful progress in the MedTech space.
