The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and PTL Limited have signed a strategic alliance agreement aimed at strengthening the use of technology within Malta’s business community.
The partnership is intended to support businesses in adopting technology-driven solutions that enhance productivity, competitiveness and long-term economic growth.
Under the agreement, PTL will collaborate with the Malta Chamber in developing practical strategies and forward-looking initiatives that help organisations integrate digital tools more effectively into their operations.
The alliance will focus on identifying opportunities for innovation across sectors, while promoting solutions designed to improve operational efficiency and deliver broader economic value.
Malta Chamber President William Spiteri Bailey said the partnership reflects the Chamber’s commitment to helping Maltese companies remain competitive in an increasingly digital economy.
He noted that combining PTL’s technical expertise with the Chamber’s policy advocacy and business network could create new opportunities for innovation and productivity among local enterprises.
Malta Chamber Chief Executive Officer Marthese Portelli said the initiative aligns with the organisation’s broader strategy to place technology at the centre of Malta’s economic development.
She added that partnerships with industry leaders are essential to supporting businesses of all sizes as they navigate digital transformation and build resilience in a rapidly evolving global marketplace.
Lorn Chetcuti, Managing Director of PTL Limited, described the agreement as an opportunity to accelerate innovation and strengthen Malta’s international digital presence.
PTL provides technology services and infrastructure across public and private sector organisations in Malta and internationally, with expertise spanning systems integration, digital infrastructure and enterprise solutions.
The agreement was formally signed by Spiteri Bailey and Portelli on behalf of the Malta Chamber, and by Chetcuti representing PTL Limited.
The initiative reflects growing collaboration between the private sector and business organisations to support digital adoption and position Malta as a competitive hub for technology-driven innovation.
