HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. has released an official announcement regarding shareholder participation in connection with a potential transaction involving a Substantial Shareholding, as defined under Capital Markets Rule 5.174. This announcement outlines important guidelines for the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).
Shareholder Rights and Participation
Shareholders holding at least 5% of the Bank’s voting issued share capital are entitled to:
- Request the inclusion of additional items on the EGM agenda.
- Propose draft resolutions for items already included in the agenda.
Submission Process
Requests for agenda items or draft resolutions must be submitted to the Bank either:

These submissions must be authenticated by the requesting party and received no later than 29 December 2024 (46 days before the EGM date). Submissions received after this date will not be entertained by the Bank.
