HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. has released an official announcement regarding shareholder participation in connection with a potential transaction involving a Substantial Shareholding, as defined under Capital Markets Rule 5.174. This announcement outlines important guidelines for the upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).
Shareholder Rights and Participation
Shareholders holding at least 5% of the Bank’s voting issued share capital are entitled to:
- Request the inclusion of additional items on the EGM agenda.
- Propose draft resolutions for items already included in the agenda.
Submission Process
Requests for agenda items or draft resolutions must be submitted to the Bank either:
