SDH Capital has opened its doors to a new office in Ras Al Khaimah, marking another significant step in its international expansion. The UAE emirate has become an attractive destination for businesses and tourists alike, thanks to its pro-investment regulatory environment, major infrastructure upgrades, and clear long-term vision for sustainable growth.

Nicholas Portelli, managing director of SDH Capital, sees the move as a natural progression for his company. The new office will be managed by Jonas Vetter, who has been appointed VP of investments.

Ras Al Khaimah is emerging as one of the UAE's most compelling destinations, driven by its forward-thinking approach to business and tourism. The emirate has recently awarded its first commercial gaming license, further reinforcing its position at the forefront of new tourism segments. db Group, the parent company of SDH Capital, is also developing the Hard Rock Hotel & Residences Ras Al Khaimah, a luxury hospitality project being delivered in partnership with the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Ras Al Khaimah.

The RAK office will provide a strategic base for SDH Capital's activities in the Middle East, supporting investment structuring and partnership development across various sectors.
