Anthropic has raised $30 billion in Series G funding, valuing the company at $380 billion post-money in one of the largest private AI funding rounds to date.
The round was led by Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC and investment firm Coatue, with participation from a broad group of global institutional investors. The raise includes previously announced strategic investments from Microsoft and NVIDIA.
Anthropic said the capital will be used to accelerate frontier AI research, expand product development and scale infrastructure to meet surging enterprise demand for its Claude models and coding tools.
Less than three years after generating its first dollar in revenue, the company now reports a $14 billion annualised revenue run-rate, having grown more than tenfold each year during that period. The number of customers spending over $100,000 annually has increased sevenfold over the past year, while those spending more than $1 million annually now exceed 500. Eight of the Fortune 10 are currently customers.
A major growth driver has been Claude Code, Anthropic’s agentic coding platform. Since becoming publicly available in May 2025, Claude Code has reached a run-rate revenue of over $2.5 billion, more than doubling since the start of 2026. Weekly active users have also doubled this year, and recent estimates suggest that approximately 4% of public GitHub commits globally are authored by Claude Code.
Enterprise usage now accounts for more than half of Claude Code’s revenue, as businesses expand beyond initial API integrations into broader workflow adoption. In January alone, Anthropic launched more than 30 new products and features, including Cowork, a system designed to extend Claude’s capabilities into areas such as sales, legal, finance and data analysis. The company has also expanded into healthcare, making Claude for Enterprise available under HIPAA compliance.
Anthropic’s latest model, Opus 4.6, is positioned as a frontier system capable of managing complex knowledge work tasks across finance, legal and business domains.
The funding will also support infrastructure expansion. Claude is available across all three major cloud platforms — Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure — and is trained and deployed across a mix of AWS Trainium, Google TPUs and NVIDIA GPUs.
The raise reinforces Anthropic’s position as one of the dominant players in enterprise AI, as competition intensifies among global model developers.
