This week, that journey reached another milestone, as Ascent Software, the European digital transformation company he co-founded in Malta, was acquired by global analytics powerhouse Acuity Knowledge Partners.

The deal marks a new chapter for Ascent, but also for Sultana himself — an entrepreneur whose ventures have helped put Maltese technology talent on the global stage. Co-founding Ascent in 2003, Sultana grew the company from a small development hub into a team of 550 specialists delivering AI-driven solutions to over 170 clients across Europe.
