Malta’s medical community has gained a major new resource with the launch of AestheLab Academy International — the island’s first dedicated academy for high-level training in aesthetic and regenerative medicine.
Until now, Maltese practitioners often had to travel abroad to access elite courses. Today, global experts in aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery, and regenerative science are flying to Malta to train professionals here.
Headquartered in Malta, with hubs in Poland, Marbella, Dubai, London, and Rome, AestheLab Academy offers intensive, hands-on programmes in real clinical settings with real patients. Each course blends anatomy, clinical precision, and practical application — moving far beyond slides and lectures.
Co-founded by Paulina Domagała, medical cosmetologist and entrepreneur behind AestheLab Clinic, and Dr Kristen Buhagiar, Medical Director of St Thomas and Good Samaritan Hospitals, the academy is built on the idea of merging medical excellence with artistry.
Domagała — recognised by Forbes Women as one of the region’s fastest-growing entrepreneurs — has completed more than 40 advanced courses in aesthetics. She is credited with introducing innovative, natural-result protocols to Malta.
“Our vision is to create a space where the art of beauty meets medical precision,” she said.
Dr Buhagiar added: “All our courses are internationally accredited and designed to elevate each practitioner’s precision, confidence, and results. This is about shaping the future of aesthetic and regenerative medicine in Malta and raising the bar.”
The academy promises:
- Global expertise – training directly from internationally recognised leaders
- Real-world practice – procedures performed on real patients under expert supervision.
- International accreditation – globally recognised certification.
- Mastery of in-demand treatments – from advanced injectables to innovative, combination techniques
With demand for skilled, ethical, and natural-result practitioners rising fast, AestheLab Academy is positioning Malta as a serious hub in the region.
Courses are kept deliberately small to ensure close mentorship — but that also means places are limited.
