Last Call for Businesses: Apply Now for Smart Transport and Logistics Solutions – Only 3 Days Left!

As the applications for the Malta Business Awards will close on Wednesday 7th of August at 23:59 (CET), the SME Chamber is encouraging ALL businesses to participate in these prestigious business awards (no fee required), with 22 different awards.
We also want to emphasise that your business can apply for multiple awards if it meets the criteria for more than one category. So don’t hesitate to showcase your company’s excellence in various areas.
One of this year’s categories is the National Transport Awards category, a category which holds 3 awards:
– Smart Transport Initiative Award
– Green Transport Initiative Award
– Logistics Solution Award
This category is supported by the Ministry for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works.
The National Transport Awards category aims to recognise businesses for their efforts in implementing initiatives that encourage the use of smart and sustainable transport and logistics solutions.
Smart Transport Initiative
This award is designed to recognise efforts of businesses who have implemented measures to ensure the smart use of transport through different technologies and digital tools. The Smart Transport Initiative Award recognizes outstanding achievements and innovative solutions in the field of transportation. The Selection Committee will be looking for businesses that can be used as an example and a best practice in terms of transportation initiatives which are efficient and maximise the use of technology, while benefitting the business.
Green Transport Initiative
This award is designed to recognise efforts of businesses who have implemented initiatives which encourage the use of smart and sustainable transport initiatives such as collective / shared transport, joint transport, fleet electrification, car-pooling, etc… The Selection Committee will be looking for businesses that can be used as an example and a best practice in terms of efficiency in transportation and how this initiative is contributing and benefitting the business.
Logistics Solution Award
The Logistics Solution Award celebrates exceptional achievements in the logistics that demonstrate innovation, efficiency, and scalability. This award recognizes businesses that have developed and implemented logistics solutions that significantly improve operational efficiency. The selection committee will be looking at innovative solutions which optimize supply chains, enhance delivery performance, and/or drive sustainable growth.
All applications must be submitted via a simple and easy online entry form found on the Malta Business Awards Website. This must be completed and submitted by Wednesday the 7th of August 2024.
The Selection Process will commence after the Closing Date.
The winner from each Category will be announced during the awards ceremony to be held on Friday 15th November 2024.
