Spotify announced that its beginning to roll out a brand-new way for podcast creators to engage with fans and that’s with ‘comments’.
The new functionality expands on their Q&A and polls, which it introduced back in 2021.
Through the comments, podcast creators will now have listener feedback to help them connect further.
How will it work? By default all comments will be hidden from the public and will only be published if the podcast creator ‘likes’ the comment.
What’s in it for the Podcasters? The app will send notifications, stats and a control centre for the comments.
Spotify has announced that “comments have been a long-requested feature”.
The rollout is being staggered.
